I said it better be free and she told me it would be. So I guess we had to try to check in at 3 to get our room? So the best they could do was a Holiday Inn Express 30 minutes away. We went to check in at 5:30 in the afternoon and were told “Hilton overbooks, sorry”. We are in our mid-60’s both with beginning cataracts and really don’t like to drive at night. We chose it for a number of reasons, we have stayed at Hampton’s before (we travel a lot) and haven’t had any issues, it was less than a mile from the casino so we could shuttle to it or Uber/Lyft so we could drink and not drive at night. We made our reservations at this Hampton 7 months ago to go see Blake Shelton at the Choctaw Casino.
